About Jared


Jared Green is an author, dramaturg, experimental literary performer, mixed-media visual artist, and Associate Professor of English literature at Stonehill College in Massachusetts. He has published fiction and literary criticism and is the editor of books on hip hop, electronica, and rave culture. His current projects include WALL Series, an unruly multimedia collaboration with poet Mark McMorris, the novels-in-progress, Ozone Days and The Blue Octavo Notebooks, and a screenplay, Garfunkel. His work has been recognized by the Rhode Island Foundation, which awarded him the MacColl Johnson Fellowship in fiction writing in 2006.
